Lettuce Germination Time and Temperature: Keep the ground or plugs moist and in a cool place (about 8-21°C) until germination occurs, usually within 7-10 days. If it’s warmer, the seeds may take longer or struggle to germinate.

The time to sow lettuce can range between early spring and late summer, typically from February to September, depending on your climate. Please choose the correct variety for the season as these can differ. Seedlings should start to appear after 7-14 days.
